Rocky is infamous for leading the cadet wing in cheers from the marquee of a building before the academy played Army in Chicago. He asked for a cheerleader so I talked to Laura Hutcheon and after thinking about all the excellent choices she finally nominated Cadet Molly Phillips. Her AOC Maj Doug Huttenlocker was pleased to ratify that nomination. Rocky asked his good friend Col Gene Rose to give his saber to Cadet Phillips.
