Ryan J McKenna

Recipient from:  Dave Daniel

Criteria: Deserving Cadet from CS-10 who wanted to be a pilot.

I’m officially nominating Ryan J. McKenna.

Cadet McKenna is the best squadron commander I’ve had in 2 years and 2 of my squadron commanders have become the Wing Commander.
He’s worked extremely hard during his time at the Academy earned a double major but has a cum GPA in the 3.0 range.  This young man is a leader who is respected by permanent party (the Group AOC asked me why I didn’t send him up to be the Group/CC this semester) and his peers. I’ve never seen a cadet better at maintaining standards but doing it in a way that not only forces others to toe the line but leaves them somehow inspired to do so.
Standing by for your questions!
